Member BenefitsAnnual membership is the foundation of public support for Idaho Public Television. When you donate you automatically become a Friend of Idaho Public Television and your gift goes directly to purchasing the programming you see 365 days a year on Idaho Public Television. All members contributing $40 ($30 for seniors) receive Idaho Channels, our printed monthly program guide, for 12 months. At the end of your annual membership year, you receive a reminder to renew your membership and continue your support of the quality programming you enjoy. In addition, your contribution makes you eligible to receive a credit on your Idaho state income taxes. Consult our Tax Deductions page for some tax saving scenarios. We have three Friends' chapters to serve you: KAID/KIPT in Boise, KISU in Pocatello and KUID/KCDT in Moscow. You may also choose to give to the Idaho Public Television Foundation, in which case your donation would go into the Idaho Public Television Endowment Fund. Public support for Idaho Public Television now makes up over 63% of our annual operating budget. Program purchases and costs associated with producing local programs such as OUTDOOR IDAHO, DIALOGUE, DIALOGUE FOR KIDS, and IDAHO REPORTS are funded with public dollars.
