Outdoor Idaho looks back at a simpler time when nearly everything was made by hand. Today, those skills are rapidly disappearing -- replaced by factories and mass produced merchandise.

A new generation of artists is dedicated to keeping these skills alive. They spend days turning bamboo into fly rods, cork and wood into decoys, juniper into hand-made hunting bows, and horse hair and rawhide into elaborate horse tack.
