USFWS TO AGAIN CONSIDER BLACK-TAILED PRAIRIE DOG FOR PROTECTION
The black-tailed prairie dog was removed from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's list of species under consideration for protection under the Endangered Species Act in 2004, but the agency announced this week that it will again review the species in consideration for listing. (Dec 4)
